Daily Graphing: August Sample

If you teach in an early elementary school grade, you probably teach graphing. Graphing is an important skill in the primary grades. Students need repeated exposure to master graphing and data interpretation. Daily questions can be a great way to cover these important skills.

Do you wonder if your students are ready to start a new school year? Ask them. This free sample of my Daily graphs for August lets you create a pictograph or bar graph to find out who is ready for the new year and who doesn’t feel so sure.

It’s an excellent way to introduce your students to graphing while getting to know them a little better. Students will collect the data, make a graph, and interpret the data in their own flipbooks.

This product is aligned specifically with the first grade standards, but it may also be appropriate for kindergarten or second grade classrooms working on graphing. Please see the preview to t determine if it meets the needs of your specific classroom.
