Three Center Activities
★Bump – Bump is a fun partner game. Two students take turns rolling a pair of dice, finding the sum, and covering spots on the game board. It’s a perfect game for practicing addition facts with sums up to 12.
★Spin and Add – This game can be played independently or as a partner game. Students use a pencil and a paperclip to spin two numbers to add. They write the addition equation and solve it on the recording sheet. It’s a great activity for practicing addition facts with sums up to 18.
★Roll-A-Problem – This is an independent center activity. Students roll two dice and then use the problem-solving mat to write and illustrate an addition word problem with the numbers.
